Does anyone know where to buy the tubular black plastic kimono hangers that pull apart into three pieces. Tried Oriental Bazaar and Tokyu Hands but had no luck. Bought previously at Hayashi Kimono in International Arcade but I believe they may have closed down (can anyone confirm this?). Thanks!
I’m no expert but I’d guess there’d probably something available at a yukata/kimono shop in one of the big and more fancy department stores round Tokyo, like Lumine in Shinjuku, Istetan in Shinjuku and Mitsukoshi in Ginza.
There is a kimono shop in the Subnade (underground shopping mall) Shinjuku near the exit/entrance to Seibu Shinjuku Station if you are in the Tokyo area.
