Shoes for toddlers seem to start at 2500 yen unless they are cheap plastic sandals. This is the same price I pay for my adult shoes that I wear for years. It seems like a lot to spend on something that’s only going to get worn for a few months. Properly fitted shoes are hard to find second-hand. Is there any cheap place to buy shoes (and have them fitted)?
Have you tried Nishi Matsuya? http://www.24028.jp/ Probably not so good for fitted shoes, but definitely cheap.
