Whereabouts in greater Tokyo (preferred rather than travelling outside to outlet malls) where there are discounted and/or factory outlet Asics and Nike stores?
I’m not sure about factory outlets, but in central Tokyo ABC Mart in Shibuya might be an option.
Also there’s an article on shoe shopping (though more female centric) on Tokyo Cheapo.
