I just moved (September 6th) to Tokyo from NYC. I’m used to small standalone tailors where I can take already bought pants, shorts , suits etc. to get slightly tailored such as shortening pants, taking waist in, narrowing pant legs etc for relatively inexpensive. Are there such inexpensive places in Tokyo? I found a local dry cleaner in Kanda area (my Corp housing location) and it was so expensive 2500 yen for shortening pants and 7200 yen to narrow pant leg.
