Hi,
I’ve got one question regarding Narita Express train from airport to Shinjuku. Does every N’EX train bound to Kawaguchiko make a stop at Shinjuku station? Looking at the timetable I can see that some of the trains have a | or || instead of station time, but I have no idea what that means.
Not all NEX trains go throigh Shinjuku, only the trains with a time listed stop there. The ones with a | or || don’t stop there.

The train splits in half after Tokyo station and continues on to two different destinations, that’s why each train is in the top column twice in the schedule. Make sure you get into the right car or you might end up in the wrong place
