Narita Express (NEX) to Tokyo area

I will be traveling to Japan, my first day will mostly be in Akihabara, and last day near Tokyo Station. So I was considering the NEX for the easiest transportation.

Can I take the NEX to Tokyo Sation, transfer to a JR line to Akihabara with the same ticket? Please feel free to suggest a better way if there is one.

The NEX website says that you can transfer to any other valid JR east line.

Yes, it looks like you can - The website does say you can transfer to any JR East Line on the map which includes Akihabara.
