JR Rail pass price hike?

I am traveling in Japan Oct 5-Oct 13 and considering the JR Rail Pass. However, I hear there is a price hike coming up? Could I order the JR Rail Pass BEFORE the price hike (as long as it’s still within 90 days of my trip) to use during my October trip?

Hi. Yes you can. You can either get it from the klook app or buy it from the JR website and pick it up from the airport when you arrive. You could also have it delivered to your home address (I think)

If I’m traveling in early March 2024 can I buy/order a regional JR Pass now? Or is December 2023 the earliest I can purchase the pass?
