Hi there, I just read The Best Way to Transfer Money to Japan article (How to Transfer Money to Japan: Remittance Services, Banks & More | Tokyo Cheapo) and found their recommendation of using OFX a promising method to transfer money from my home country (Canada) to Japan. To use it, you must register your information on OFX, but “Japan” wasn’t on the “Country you live in” list. I’ve been a resident of Japan for the past five years, so my address is officially in Japan now, not Canada, so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do here. I assume the writer is speaking from experience as someone living in Japan and transferring money, so wondering how he did it. Has anyone found a workaround?
