A 2019 post on Trunk Stores had great info, but that was pre-covid & pre-Olympics. I’d like to know if it’s still correct or if long-term storage issues have changed. I need to store 2 items (a bike travel bag & a checked box for other bike gear) for 90 days while I’m touring southern Japan.

Author of that post (was written in 2021 not 2019) here. What in particular do you think might be incorrect? Prices are always a bit variable, so that’s a given. Otherwise, there’s no reason why things would have changed fundamentally. Assuming you’re a resident. If not, a trunk room isn’t an option. I’m also not sure about a term of only 90 days. You might need to check the company websites for that.
