Higashi Nihombashi or Asakusa

Higashi Nihombashi or Asakusa - I’m wondering which is a better place to stay for my short Tokyo trip, in terms of ease of train connections, nice locality etc.

Hi there,
Asakusa is a more interesting area, but Higashi Nihonbashi is a bit more central - it’s just to the east of Tokyo Station. So if you’re catching the Shinkansen, it’s quite handy. The Imperial Palace and Ginza are also close by. Both would be fine though.

Thanks! I’ve decided to stay near the Yamanote Otsuka (spelling?) Line.

There’s also Asakusabashi that’s in between the two, has lots of budget hotels and decent connections to both major airports. Also walking distance to Akihabara. Might be worth considering.
