Anyone know of a decent car hire local company in Osaka or Tokyo. I want to hire a car but don’t want to use the big international names like Avis or Eurocar and Hertz. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the suggestion, but it’s very very expensive more expensive than the big names you get at the airport.
