Can you book a seat on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto that has oversized luggage area and Mt Fuji views?

Hi there

We will be travelling to Japan in March 2025 and will have large suitcases as we are doing land based travel and a 14 night cruise. Our suitcases will probably weigh about 25kgs and there is no way we can lift them above our heads to put in overhead luggage storage.

Can you book a seat on the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto that has oversized luggage area and Mt Fuji views?

Yes. Just make sure you get seats D and E.
