what is a language exchange
This usually means a social/skills exchange meet up for people to practice language skills with other learners. For example Japanese people learning English, meet up with Native English speakers learning Japanese.
There’s often language exchange meet up events in Tokyo - perhaps Tokyo Cheapo should organise too?

I guess there aren’t that many Japanese native speakers on Tokyo cheapo though?
Definitely check Meetup, half the events on there are language exchange 
Correct! Our stats show about 2.3% of visitors to the site have their OS language set to Japanese. Not all those people will be native Japanese speakers but either way it’s quite low
