Hi I’m visiting japan on 25 feb 2018 and leaving on 1 mar. I’m not sure where to stay and what type of travel passes I shloud take. I will be arriving at Haneda Airport n leaving from Narita Airport. I need recommendation on location to stay and things to do. I’m looking for good shopping areas as well. Hope someone can assist. Thanks a lot.
If you’re just staying in the Tokyo area, you won’t need a rail pass. But do buy a reloadable fare card (Suica or Pasmo) to make train rides within the city less painful, since you won’t have to fuss with individual tickets.
There’s a lot of prime shopping in Shibuya/Harajuku.
