I am attempting to find accommodations in Tokyo during the Olympics to watch my brother in-law compete. All other housing is through the roof expensive and I am wondering if it would be risky to just bank on manga cafes for the trip? I would also assume they are going to jack the prices during those two weeks as well but thought I’d ask.

maybe risky to bank on a manga cafe. I’m guessing you’ve tried all the capsule hotels? It may also be possible that some haven’t open up the reservations yet?
